La Ronde is a provocative play written in 1897 by Austrian playwright Arthur Schnitzler. It explores themes of love, desire, and societal hypocrisy through a circular structure of interconnected encounters between characters from different societal spaces. Originally set in turn-of-the-century Vienna, La Ronde exposes the fluidity of human relationships and the contrast between public morality and private passions.

The play was initially banned due to its candid treatment of sexuality and morality, only receiving a full public performance decades later. This iteration gets a bold contemporary twist. Fueled by bursts of song, dance, and raw physicality, this modern adaptation transforms the original cycle of lovers into a fast-paced, neon-lit whirlwind of desire, deception, and shifting identities. As each encounter spirals into the next, class, gender, and morality blur in a game where love is fleeting, intimacy is currency, and no one escapes untouched. Sensual, darkly comic, and unapologetically modern.
